____The UFO navigated by Oxbrain slowed to sub-light speed as it approached the solar system.
_____Oxbrain was indeed anxious to return to Earth. After having been abducted by aliens, and then abandoned in a UFO thousands of light-years away from home, he was now ready to rest his weary hooves on terra firma.
_____ Unfortunately, the UFO he was navigating back to Earth was considered stolen property by the Xerxi-- and they were determined to take it back! As the UFO slowed, a Xerxi Combat-Recovery ship (which had been tracking the UFO) now caught up with the craft and positioned itself directly above. The underbelly of the Combat-Recovery ship slid open, and a powerful tractor beam began pulling the UFO upwards into the ship.
_____ But now come the Zatani, annoyed that their captured UFO had mysteriously eluded them! From deep space, they swooped down in their turbo-charged Warship and aimed their own tractor beam at the UFO, in a brazen attempt to wrest it away from the Xerxi ship. The clash of opposing tractor beams released the UFO from its grip, enabling the UFO (with Oxbrain in it) to escape!
_____ With their disputed prey fallen out of reach, the two opposing ships hesitated, then retreated, to reassess their respective plans of action.
_____ But Oxbrain sped away, having more important things to accomplish. Mainly, returning to planet Earth!
_____ As the welcome sight of the blue planet loomed larger and larger in the distance, our Ox was observed to be performing an odd dance around the bridge of the ship ...
