_____ One night a UFO landed in a remote clearing on Breakneck's farm. Several humanoids with big heads descended from the craft, walked to the riverbank , removed their space suits, and began wading in the river. They emitted giggling sounds as they splashed about.
_____At about this time, Oxbrain was awakened by noises from the direction of the river. Annoyed and sleepy, he poked his head through the bushes, saw the alien trespassers, and said "You better clear out of here before Breakneck sees you. I bet he'll turn that bright little RV of yours into scrap metal, too!"
_____The aliens stopped their splashing, stared at him in silence, and then began talking excitedly among each other (telepathically). "A sentient bovine! Unusually intelligent! We must capture him for study!" (continued below...)

_____Oxbrain sensed imminent danger. He turned to run, but it was too late. For at that instant he was caught in the grip of a paralyzing ray aimed at him. With a tractor beam, this time, he was lifted into the spacecraft. As waves of terror washed over him, he heard snatches of their telepathic conversations: "We must study the abnormal cluster of neurons in the creature's cerebral cortex... slice it off... surgical procedure... after the operation the creature will be returned to its farm... will turn into a happy mindless ox like the rest of its species..."
_____ Oxbrain tried to scream, but the anesthetic was taking effect. Already, he was losing consciousness.
_____ Suddenly, the leader of the alien craft said "Phew! this creature stinks! Ensign, head for the nearest space port with bath facilities."
_____"Aye aye, sir!"
_____ And with that, the spacecraft lifted gently in to the air, then sped away so suddenly, it was gone in an instant.
